EyeCheck.app is run by Potential Dynamics Pte Ltd, Singapore (UEN 202516281E), 220 Orchard Road, #03-05 Midpoint, Singapore 238852.

We are responsible for your personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Data we collect
- When you take a screening: your full name, email address, birth date, country, city, and your screening results.
- If you choose: an email address for a 12-month reminder, or to receive your report.
- When you contact us or apply (school, clinic, charity, research and contact forms): the details you enter, and any files you upload (research form).
- Payments (donations and the paid report): processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, but never your card details.
- Usage data: pages visited, and device and browser information, collected through cookies only if you agree (see Cookies and consent).
How we use your data
We use your data to:
- run the screening and show your results
- create and email your report
- send a reminder, if you asked for one
- reply to enquiries and applications
- produce anonymised statistics, for example the total number of people screened
- understand how the site is used and show ads, only with your consent.
We don’t sell your data.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to process data for us:
- Supabase (database)
- DigitalOcean (application hosting)
- Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery)
- Brevo (sending emails)
- Stripe (payments)
- YouTube (only if you play the video on our home page)
- Google (advertising and analytics, only with your consent)
Some of these providers store data outside Singapore. We use providers that protect data to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
Cookies and consent
We only use necessary cookies, which the site needs to work.
If you play the video on our home page, YouTube may set its own cookies.
How long we keep data
- Personal details from a screening: deleted automatically after a maximum of 7 days.
- Reminder email: kept until the reminder is sent or you unsubscribe.
- Enquiries and applications: kept as long as we need them to respond and manage the relationship.
- Anonymised statistics (no personal details): kept indefinitely.
Children’s data
EyeCheck.app is designed for users aged 3 and up. A parent or guardian should enter a child’s details and take the test with them. By doing so, they give consent on the child’s behalf.
We collect only what’s needed for the screening, and delete it after 7 days.
Your rights
You can:
- ask to access or correct your data
- delete your data, using “Delete my data” on your results page or by emailing us
- withdraw your consent
- unsubscribe from emails at any time.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can contact Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), limit who can access data, and keep personal data only for a short time.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the “Last updated” date.
